When is Theo James’s new film FUZE out?
Jurassic World Rebirth is coming to Sky Cinema
Theo James‘s new film Fuze will arrive in UK cinemas as a Sky Original on April 3, 2026, marking the latest high-octane thriller from acclaimed director David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, Outlaw King).
Following its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, Fuze brings Mackenzie back to pulse-pounding territory, this time setting the action squarely in London. Shot on location across the capital, the film uses the city as more than a backdrop, placing it at the heart of an unfolding crisis that blends large-scale suspense with intimate character drama.
Leading the cast is Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Major Will Tranter, a bomb disposal expert drawn into a rapidly escalating emergency, alongside Theo James as Karalis, a diamond specialist with plans of his own. They are joined by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, and Saffron Hocking, rounding out an ensemble that spans British and international talent.
The story ignites when an unexploded World War II bomb is discovered on a central London construction site, triggering a massive evacuation and throwing the city into panic. As emergency services scramble to contain the threat, Tranter and police chief Zuzana Greenfield (Mbatha-Raw) find themselves navigating a crisis where tensions rise, loyalties blur, and nothing is quite as it seems. Unbeknownst to authorities, a criminal crew led by Karalis is hiding within the evacuation zone, preparing an audacious jewel heist under cover of the ultimate distraction.
Produced by Sébastien Raybaud and Callum Grant for Anton, alongside Mackenzie and Gillian Berrie for Sigma Films, Fuze promises a collision of ticking-clock bomb suspense, precision crime, and a city pushed to the brink—landing in UK cinemas on April 3, 2026.
The film will then be available to stream on Sky Cinema and NOW.
