HBO Max will be the new home of TNT Sports in the UK, alongside iconic series such as Friends and the highly anticipated new Harry Potter television series, when the streaming service launches in the UK and Ireland on Thursday 26 March 2026.

At launch, viewers will be able to stream the complete first season of the 2025 Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award-winning Max Original The Pitt for the first time in the UK and Ireland, with episodes from its second season released weekly.

HBO Max will also be the destination for brand-new HBO Original series, including Lanterns, inspired by DC’s iconic Green Lantern and premiering in summer 2026, as well as the much-anticipated Harry Potter television series.

Within the first few months, subscribers will also gain access to new HBO Original series such as DTF St. Louis, Rooster, and the third and final season of The Comeback.

From 26 March, HBO Max will be the exclusive streaming service in the UK and Ireland for all seasons of HBO’s hit series Euphoria, ahead of the arrival of its long-awaited third season in April.

The service will also offer a deep library of HBO and Warner Bros. Television favourites, including Succession, Friends, The Sopranos and Game of Thrones, all available in full and exclusively on HBO Max.

Film fans can enjoy major box-office hits such as the Oscar-nominated One Battle After Another and Sinners, alongside Superman, A Minecraft Movie, Dune: Part One, plus complete access to the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings film franchises.

HBO Max will feature the full TNT Sports offering, including live coverage of Premier League football, domestic and European cup competitions, every Gallagher PREM Rugby and Premiership Women’s Rugby match, over 1,000 live cycling events annually including every stage of the Tour de France, Grand Slam tennis from the Australian Open and Roland-Garros, every MotoGP race, the World Snooker Tour, winter sports, and the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028.

TNT Sports will continue to be priced at £30.99 per month and will be available either as a standalone subscription or alongside selected HBO Max plans, delivering enhanced in-app features designed to give fans greater control over how they watch live sport.

In March, subscribers can enjoy a full weekend of live Gallagher PREM Rugby, followed by Emirates FA Cup fixtures and UEFA Champions League quarter-finals in early April.

Following launch, TNT Sports will continue to be distributed via existing UK and Ireland partners. discovery+ will remain the streaming home of TNT Sports until its transition to HBO Max on 26 March, after which subscribers accessing TNT Sports through partner platforms will be able to stream via HBO Max.
